Avala Tower opening hours for visitors are:
from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. in the period from 1 April to 31 October
from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the period from 1 November to 31 March
If you go by car from the city centre, drive across Banjica, along Bulevar Oslobodjenja, or take the Belgrade-Niš highway, and then exit at Bubanj Potok.
If you use public transportation, lines 401, 403, 405 and 408 starting from the bus station Trošarina at Banjica will take you to the Avala foothill. On weekend days throughout the season from 1 May to 31 August, public transportation lines 400 and 400L take passengers straight to the Avala Tower. For the timetables, check the information on www.gsp.rs. Tourists are offered also open-top bus rides organized by “Lasta” carrier during the high season.
